Update Instructions
Note:  This update is only for Versiv 2 main and Versiv 2 remote units.  If the Versiv Remote model you have is not Versiv 2, Fluke’s recommendation is that you keep both at version 6.14 build 9, as the update will not install on non-Versiv 2 units due to memory limitations.  You may create a firmware mismatch communication error, and it is not possible in the field to downgrade a Versiv2 unit running 7.0 back to 6.14.

You should first install the the latest LinkWare PC 12.0 software before updating your Versiv 2 mainframe from https://www.flukenetworks.com/support/downloads

To update your Versiv 2 firmware to version 7.0 Build 3:

1. Download the firmware from https://www.flukenetworks.com/support/downloads
2. Connect your Versiv 2 to your PC using a USB cable.
3. Start LinkWare PC. If LinkWare PC prompts that there is a new version of Versiv software available, dismiss the prompt.
4. Click on the Software Update toolbar button on LinkWare PC.
5. Browse to the folder where 7_0_update_v2.ci2 was downloaded.
6. Select the file in the browse dialog and click OK.
7. Wait until Versiv is done updating then connect your remote to the main to update the remote.
   Leave the USB cable attached until the Remote has finished updating and reboots.
